Default Weather Conditions 4-12-19

Yep. Almost 1/2 wat through April. Iggy got about 1in of snow last night, then it turned to about 1/2in of rain. School delayed 1/2 hour. Everything is a crappy sloppy mess. It was so bad, yes I did end up having to plow - on April 12th.

It isn't done yet. Still talking more snow on Sunday night.

I looked at a couple trails yesterday morning. Stuff in the woods still looks good. Flat and frozen. No way am I saying you should ride, just saying we had that much base.

Starting to think that we will be going right from winter into summer. Here is hoping we have a good summer!

Well, I think we are finally on the upswing of things. Midstate got a wholloping last night, some areas got 8-10in of snow. the UP was spared, and there is now some grass in the front yard. The bay is finally ice free. 40d+ and rain many days with week should finish off everything but the piles in Iggy. Further North is another story though. I made a trip to Newberry on Saturday and the snow in the mid-part of the UP from Epoufette North through Rexton and the like still has 1-2 feet of snow in the woods and the trails are still covered with a heavy smooth ice base. It will be a few more weeks of that I would expect. Maybe we will have some spring come May?
