Default Straits Trails (Brevort)

Trails were still decent, ice base but still enough dusting to cool. Rode from Brevort to Curtis. Any ride is better then no ride!

Sorry, phone pics too big for this site.

Thumbs up Re: Straits Trails (Brevort)

Guess where we rode yesterday??

An inch or so of snow on top of the icy base.

We played around on the Burma grade, the Cut River trail, and the Camp Road for a bit at the end of the day yesterday on our way back from Seney.

Sunday we rode from Black Mountain to Cheboygan and then back down to Millersburg. We stayed off the railroad grades as they were down to gravel in most spots. In the woods though was up to a foot of fresh snow on an icy base. Those trails were mostly good with fair sections out in the open.

Yesterday AllSeason and I drove up to Seney parking lot north of town, then rode up to Grand Marais and played around on the Crazy Eights. Came back down 43 into Seney then back to the parking lot. Seney was getting thin but anything north was in good shape. There is lots of snow along the north shore, but the town trail into Grand Marais was really snirty.

Looks like that will be it for this season.

Curtis trails and Rexton perfect. Newberry coming in from the South East was toast, south end trail was flat and snow covered.

Yes it is Chamberlin's. Easy solo ride from Brevort, and the trails are almost always decent. I usually will do an over night ride since I can get a meal, beer, and a good night sleep all in one stop.
