Default Trail Conditions 4-23-18

Is it? Could it really be? Spring?
We have had 3 days of 50d weather, and it is predicted to be 50d all week! First time since like last October I think, and a welcome change. We have lost about 3/4 of the snow from teh 2 big storms, and grass it now again visible in the years. Still lots of big piles all over the place, but spring is actually making an effort.

I think the woods trails are are still ridable, but fact is it is April 23rd, and I don't think anyone is riding a sled anymore. Jeep the Mac went pretty good here, and we have over 775 jeeps in St. Ignace Area, and over to Drummond. That added to teh trucks on the trails, and after a tough winter it is time to share them with Jeeps, ATVS and 4x4s.

It is quickly time to move on to writing grants for next year, and concentrate on the very very long list of summer projects.

Hope you have a few good rides this year. Lets hope for a better snow year in the Straits Area next season.
