LOOKING FOR IDEAS ON ATV RIDE!!

Well if winter is leaving us early then its time for me to work on summer plans. I have been tossing around ideas on a atv ride/rally the Saturday May 15th. Was gonna do it the 8th but learned that was mothers day weekend so that might not be a good idea. Anyways what I have is a ride that will start here (cut river) and have a poker run style event that has many fun stops included. Thinking of having pre registration so we could include a lunch and dinner. Along with this there could be some short events or games to make it fun. I am currently working on having a couple factory demos on site also. I am very open minded and this is just the begining of the planning stage so I really would appreciate any ideas and feedback.

I would love to get in on a ride like that. Keep me posted, there are a few of us at Coast Guard Station St. Ignace that have been talking about getting together for a group ride. Sounds like fun!

When a date is set lets Sticky this thread. After this season I think a ATV ride may get a nice turn out.

Hey Wayne sounds like a great time and should go over quite well.
From my experience with my golf tourny, and the years with the grass drags it very tough, to get people to commit very far ahead of time,some will and most show up at the event ready to go, which is also good. I believe our hurry hurry lifestyle, and the ECONOMY make it harder to plan ahead.

Like I said sounds like a great time.

I'll do better then that. Since our club is starting to get into trail maintenance, with ATV money, and if there is interest from folks around here, I have no problem opening up a special summer, or ATV board to keep all that stuff together.

So far so good! Lots of positive response. I understand that it is hard to try to get people to committ but it sure would be nice to know the difference between 50 and 250 people. I will keep updating as I get more details. Keep those ideas rolling!!

Not sure what happen to Wayne from Davis Motor Sports but if anyone still wants to do a group ATV ride we can plan on the same weekend and have a few stops planned, lunch and a group dinner and drinks at the end of the ride.
