Default Awful Quiet while the now is flying

Keep getting texts and pictures about all this snowfall in the UP. I am assuming the groomers can't be sent out till Dec 1st. Hoping this snow holds and allows you guys to get out and pack this stuff in. I'm assuming the ground is still not froze?

I’d rather see the snow disappear and get a good freeze in the ground first. Went to Munising over the holidays one year and the ground got a good snow cover before the ground froze. All the sand kept working up through the snow. Couldn’t keep sliders on a sled. Dealers were selling out of them. Sucked!!!!

Yes I see that point of view as well. Looks like that's what happened. Hopefully this cold weather starts freezing all the wet areas and the snow machine starts cranking!!

I agree it would certainly be better if the temps stayed below freezing for a week or so before the snow machines crank up. Got a winter weather alert for Iggy on my phone a couple 2 or 3 weeks ago, and another one this morning. Not sure how much, if any, frost is in the ground UP there. Now that Neil has had a week to recover from Julie's meltdown after "the game", maybe he can fill us in on the current conditions

Sorry guys, with the horrible October and snowy November I have been behind on everything this fall. I will get into the swing of bi-weekly updates again.
