Default Stay Home - Stay Safe Life

No posts in awhile, so here it goes...

I have been laid off since March 17th right before the stay home - stay safe order from our Governor. Been getting alot of odd jobs done and still have alot to go. with some new projects too. I kinda like the time off.

We are both feeling good and Kathy is still working part time. My 88yr.old Mother is good to and not leaving her house, except to work in her yard.

Only 4 cases in Huron county, Mi. That's holding at that for a week now.

How is everybody doing? Still working? Keeping healthy?

I am still working here in Ohio. Excavation/underground utilities, water, storm, sanitary. People gotta have water and they have to poop!

Came UP last Saturday and got the sleds and trailer but did our best to stay in line with the no travel order. Wanted to get it before they make it harder to do. Did a 14 hour, 860 mile turn and burn. Only stopped 3 times for fuel and once to hook up the trailer. Left my house at 5 am and had my sled in the garage by 7 pm.

Staying healthy.

Still working as I'm the "critical infrastructure guy."

Our sales and engineering staff have been working from home.

The electrical and mechanical machine assembly employees are home. We have not laid anyone off YET.

We need to get back to work, the economic damage is rapidly mounting!

Huron county now has 6 cases.

The company I work at has applied and approved for the federal loan when they need it. If this going to hurt a lot of companies.
But we need to be safe. Life as normal can sure change. Kinda unbelievable.

Trying to work up here too. Things are very slow.
Several cases being reported in Mac Co, but I don't think anyone is actually here. 2 on Mac Isl, both removed to downstate. 1 from our hospital a part timer from another hospital and they went back home downstate. The 4th, don't know anything about.

People seem to be taking it more and more serious around here. This is a major PITA for sure.

Thoughts (and a roll of TP) to all of you and your families. Be safe, and hopefully we all will make it through.

((Hardcore drive there Wink - it isn't like you could have left them at my place for a few months.))
